Paul and others,

I just finished the majority of the Edge 540 build and I must say that it went together very well. The instructions are lacking in a few simple areas, but nonetheless, I made it through it. I am still kinda new to the whole Electric thing as I used to fly gassers when I was young. Paul has been fantastic at answering my questions both via email and telephone. I can't say enough about his product knowledge and support. I am down to installing the control rods and it should be ready for its maiden flight tomorrow (If my Mr USPS delivers my new radio today or tomorrow).

As for the battery connectors, I soldered on the Deans plug ends to both the Speed controller and the Battery leads. Do I need another male Deans plug end to modify my T-425 Thunder Power Charger? The connector is different. I need to get another set regardless as I purchased two lipos and forgot I needed another female for that. Any ideas as to what you folks have done here?

I look forward to any advice I might get.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,

James M.

I don't know your particular charger, but mine has the spring loaded wire lead terminals. I keep a spare set of each size (female i think?) with it to switch with my different planes / batteries. Then I just made a small micro-deans to full-deans connector for my other charger hat is hard wired with micro.
