Hey fellas,
I took my freshly built Edge 540 out this AM for its first flight. What a kick! Keep in mind that I have not flown a plane in almost 15 years now. Fortunately I have had Real Flight G3 for a few months now and a Hirobo Skyrobo indoor heli to get my juices flowing again.
Anyway, man how quickly things came back with this plane. I was pulling knife edge after about 3 minutes of flight. I need to increase my throws a bit (Rudder elevator, but was able to hover the thing almost immediately (Way up off the ground of course :D ). This plane darn near lands itself with a little throttle control.
I just wanted to than PaulG for making this rig available. I feel like a kid again. Best of all, the park that is only 300 yards from my house is the perfect place to fly this nimble plane.
