I just found out about Airfoilz at the LHS. They have an Edge and Yak.
I'm trying to sell a couple glow planes to downsize to electrics, and after I saw the Airfoilz... I knew I had to have one... or two.
So, I like my planes to be a little unique, and was thinking about painting one instead of using decals. Any suggestions on what would be the best paint?

I'm partial to Parma International's FASKOLOR.

Its an airbrush dream. Lightweight, and awesome colors.

I know its marketed as a car paint, but its flexible, light and sticks like crazy to foam. They are missing a big market not selling it to RC Pilots.

Hi Hogger:

I painted my Yak with Createx, using an air brush. You have to be careful using masking tape.

Thanks for the info.
What will the masking tape do?
How about the blue painters tape?

I used the blue painters tape from 3m. I think if you press too hard and really make it stick it could possibily remove the outer layer of the foam. I had to remove some velcro from the plane and it left a dull spot where the velcro was stuck. I used some acrylic paint from walmart with an air bush with pretty good results.

We now sell the planes without the decals so, that will make it a ltttle cheaper for ya if you want to paint.
