The Bipe rocked up on friday.
Managed to get a bit of time Sunday arvo to start putting this baby together!
Used some RC Styro paints to mix it up a bit.
Went together extremely well, untill i got to the aileron installation...
THERE WEREN'T ANY! LOL!
I think Paul G must be working his guys in the store too hard! :p heehee
Replacements on the way, no dramas. Should have them by weekend i hope.

What is missing? Are you missing a page to the manual? You can download the manual here- https://www.3dxhobbies.com/Articles.asp?ID=126

Sorry, should have been a little more specific....
The actual 4 x ailerons were not in the kit, and yet i got 2 x front motor mount plates, and 2 x tail wire mounting blocks...may come in handy one day. ;)
My supplier is sending out replacement ailerons from another kit and gonna hit you for another set i believe.
Paul as i mentioned, no sweat, these things happen.
Regs,
Mick
p.s love the new plastic bits. Was suspect when i first inspected them, as they seemed real flimsy, but i must say after gluing it up as per your instructional video method (Foam safe kicker and CA) it has come up a treat. As solid as the ply mounts on my other Airfoilz i would say!

Coonak,
Are you using a battery strap? I am to the point of installing the battery and did not want to put holes in the fuse until I know height wise where the battery will sit. In the RCU review, the article mentions to put the battery at or above the thrust line to keep it from coupling on knife edge. I am looking at where to put the strap in relation to the thrust line. It looks like the fuse spars would be right were I would want the straps to go thru the fuse so It looks like I may have to put the top one just about the top fuse spar.
Any info would be helpful. Pictures too of you plane with battery installed.
Thanks,
paulg

Yes, you should use the strap.

Sorry for late reply..... totally missed your question for some reason.
I'm gonna have to come clean here and admit that i 'don't' have a battery strap on my Bipe.
*Runs to shed looking for flame suit*
I too wait until i am happy with location for C.G etc before adding a strap, but for some reason i don't seem to put the Bipe thru too many High 'G' maneuvers and never actually ended up fitting one. :o (If i flew like Mikey and Woody :p then yeah, i would say it's a must)
I agree with Paul that you probably should fit one.
(I do give the battery/velcro a good push/rub/twist and touch wood haven't had it let go.........yet)
Here's a small onboard clip from a couple of weeks back of my Bipe with a 2170 FlightPower hangin off the side..... (still tryin to find the right spot to put the camera to get both Ailerons on screen)

 actually now that i look at it, it does look a touch wobbly doesn't it?
*Runs to shed with battery straps in hand*
In regards to batt location to counter any coupling etc, perhaps Mikey or Woody can chime in with their knowledge? I might learn something too! heehee
Cheers
Mick
