This plane rocks, its my second plane and man do I love flying it. Great build too. No 3d yet, still just some basic acro but I can see me learning a lot from and on this plane. Thanks airfoilz!! By the way, I love the green and black scheme. The photos really dont do it justice, the green is actually much brighter.

Thanks Paul, I appreciate it. The build was very straight foward and this plane is a blast to fly! Like I said, I am not very experienced but I have gotten some more confidence already from this plane and look foward to learning some 3d with it!

I am going to purchase an airfoilz edge 540 for my second plane. Just wondering, how much experience you have had flying, what plane and did it have ailerons, and did it take you long to adjust? Thanks, Rosamonte

My first plane was an Inferno. It was a depron bipe from Hobby Lobby. Lasted a while and then just got to heavy from my repairs! :D Anyways, this plane is my second but I have flown it way more than I ever did my inferno. The build was great and this plane will fly so slow it has been like a trainer for me. It handles the wind pretty well too boot. Looking back now, I would have gotten this as my first airplane. It is pretty durable and like I said, will fly pretty much as slow as you want which makes things easy. The setup from Paul in the combo is spot on as well. Hope this helps.

Just ordered Yaks # 4 and 5. I learned to fly with Airfoilz over the last three years. After bad landings, hitting trees, and drilling them into the ground, I only retire them when the dozen epoxy repairs double the weight. Always my "go-to" everyday flyer.
