Finished her up on Sunday, managed to get a windy (approx 8mph... well thats windy in my book anyway! :p ) Maiden flight in that arvo.
I started with a fairly nose heavy CG to start with.
What can i say, this little baby worked the wind like it was its friend!
I was very impressed. Hacker Combo seemed to have oodles of power!

Took it out again this morning before work and the conditions were spot on!
Man, what a great plane. They say 'Nothing Flies like an Airfoilz' well that saying deinately applies to The Bipe! I can also say that Nothing Else Looks like The Bipe, it has a very unique presence in the sky. I really like the look of it!
Knife Edge's sooo easy its not even funny! Violent Hammer head turns with the throttle off! And came in to land at about 2MPH! I was grinning from ear to ear all morning. Cant wait to get better with this plane!

I got a 5in1 DVR in the mail today, hoping to get some footage in the coming weekends.

To all the Airfoilz pilots out there, GET THIS PLANE! You will love it!
It's a 'must have' in any Airfoilz fleet.

I flew my bipe for the first time today. (3 flights) You mentioned that you flew yours a little on the nose-heavy side. Could you please take a measurement and let me know, on the top wing, where your CG is? I flew with the CG at the midpoint of the recommended range and thought the plane behaved like it was tail-heavy.

The plane went together great and requires virtually no trim for straight flight. Guys at the field said "sweet". It looked to spectators like it was flying great, however, as the pilot, I thought I had my hands full. [My YAK is perrrrrrrrrrrrrfect. I think once I find the setup sweet spots, my bipe will be nice too.]

I moved the battery forward to get the CG at 2 9/16" from the leading edge of the top wing. I think this is fine for now. My Bipe is a joy to fly!!!
