Removing Vinyl Decals

Has anyone removed the vinyl decals on their Airfoilz plane? I'm looking to paint mine with some Krylon Shortcuts and would like to know if removing the vinyl stickers will peel off the thin layer on the Depron and ruin it. Would a blowdryer help facilitate the removal? Thanks in advance.

Yes a little heat will help but you will still lose the finish but no big deal if you paint were the decals were at.
