Wow, what a nice bird. I have 10-15 flights on mine and have started tweaking the trims and CG. I have worked on CG for good inverted flight and it tucks to canopy pretty good in KE with a slight roll out. I have added about 8% elevator and a little aileron and now she KE's very nice. I have read that with the aft CG to expect the tuck. I would rather have a good 3D CG and mix out the little things. I haven't done much hovering with it so that is next. All I can say is I love it and it gets rave reviews at my field. There is only one other at my club and I called him to tell him what a great plane this is and expect to see him out soon. My setup:

Hacker 20-20L
Hacker X-20 ESC
Apex 1350 / 15C / 3S (going to order new 20C's)
HS-55's

PS. Installed landing gear block in reverse and it broke after several flights on a hard set down on our turf runway. Cut it out, re-glued with new floss, re-installed correctly and is holding up well.

I am not addicted to foam but something tells me I need an Edge....isn't one of the first signs of addiction denial?

Another one has been foiled...
I'm in about the same boat as you, but I was thinking about doing a little mixing for KE. I haven't done much mixing before so it's a little new to me.
If I mix for KE, won't that screw up other maneuvers, like spins, etc?

I've got a Twist for sale at the local shop, and once it sells, I'm grabbing the Edge... or maybe the Extra if it's ready.

One day at a time...:D

As for as mixing you could set the mix up on a switch and just use it when you are doing the particular thing the mix was for. I am no expert but by doing the mix it should make the plane neutral. If you were to take it up and do a rudder only turn, it should be flat. What ever it does in response to the rudder turn, you would mix out to make it neutral again. I am not sure how it would effect spins but I will see and let you know...don't think it would hurt them any. This of course would be based on the particular CG you are trying to fly with. If I adjusted my CG again I would have to tweak my mixes.

Hope this helped, your going to love this plane!
