Hi,
I am at the stage where I have to make the control rod.
The servo end is no problem. But for the control horn end, the instruction says "bend the 1/32 inch wire to create a friction fit when pushed approximately 3/4 inch carbon fiber tube".
I am not too sure how this is done. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much.

Nothing like a late reply and you are probably well past the construction stage at this time. What i do is use needle nose pliers and make just a very slight bend, almost a wiggle in the wire. Just enough to make it a friction fit in the tube. If necessary straighten the end that emerges from the tube so the link remains straight. Once you do one you will catch on. Put epoxy in the end of the tube and a dab on the wire and insert it about 3/4's of an inch.

My method may be a little more primitive...
I cut the provided wire in half. Using the threaded end, I put the clevis on it. I then put the clevis' on both the servo, and the control surface, and get a eyeball measurement for the carbon rod. I cut it, and insert it in place. a couple drops of thin CA and presto. Fin. Building them on the airplane makes for a super simple, yet amazingly fast installation that is right on the money.
What is interesting, is if you use your carbon rod sparingly, you will have plenty to use as a tail skid. FAR BETTER than the wire provided.
Remember, this is a foam airplane. You dont need control rods that provide 10lbs of torque.
