Well, It was bound to happen. I biffed a landing on my Edge. The fuselage cracked right behind the wing. I repaired the depron with foam safe CA. I suspect the skeleton inside may have cracks too but wasn't going to tear into it. The fuse ever so slighty flexes at the break point. What can I do to stiffen up or support the cracked area? I believe it's still able to fly but maybe a high G manuver may stress it again. Any suggestions/past experiences will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Poke a hole in the fuse and try to get some ca on the woodend spars. If it is still flexing, your going to have to break it open.

I would use a sharp hobby knife to remove a small circle or square near the effected area over the inner skeleton. Once removed, wick THIN foam safe CA into the area. Once it is solid again, replace the removed piece of 3mm depron foam that you trimmed out in the first step. If you are careful, you won't even see the surgery scar.

my suggestion is alittle dirtier but makes the scar stiffer than before. I had my yake crack in half and I epoxied the two parts togeather first, and then when that is cured I placed (CF or Balsa) stripes 90deg. to the crack and epoxied those aswell. My plane flew 10 more times after that repair.
