Last night I made my z-bends and epoxied the 1/32 inch wire into the carbonfiber tubing. Tonight (24 hr later) the epoxy is still gummy and the wires move around easily. I pulled them out, put on some CA, put them back in, and sprayed on some kicker. Now (1 hr later) at least one of the wires still moves. Will the epoxy ever dry? Should I just scrap these pushrods and make some more? Thanks, Justin

Sounds like the epoxy was mixed with the wrong ratio or it's old, I'd try to dig out the old epoxy and re-glue it.

Thanks Paul. Do you recommend epoxy or CA, or something else? Justin

Epoxy is the best for that, CA is to brittle.

If you are having issues with the epoxy set, like Paul mentioned, your ratios were off, or you might have an old batch. If you do decide to use CA (Which I use) do not use any kicker or accelerant. While the set time will speed up, it also results in a much more brittle and weak bond.
