Please post here if you want to be a beta tester for the new Extra 260 plane. Please DO not PM me for the request, I'm using this site to keep track of my offers. You will get just the kit, you will have to provide the glue and electronics, BUT you can order that from me at a discount.

Requirements:
Must provide a somewhat detailed description of the build
provide building pics
keep all comments here on the site
provide flight report and video
I will decide who will be asked to do a build thread in the forums

I can do all the above.

I am not an advanced flyer, but I have built a couple wood kits.

If you would like a pair of fresh eyes, I am your guy.

Count me in!

1. I am a very careful builder...I take my time to insure everything is accurately built
2. I have the resources to complete the project
3. A close friend and fellow pilot is a professional photographer who has been photographing the "Red Bull Air Races" and is always looking for another "Fun Project" (Wait to you see the pic's he took of my Edge from last weekend...coming soon!) He has both video and still cameras and loves the practice! Plus...that means I never have to look for a camera man/woman :D
4. I have the TIME!! I have been just waiting for my next project.
5. I am a solid RC pilot...20+ years of experience.
6. I stand behind Airfoilz and advertise them everywhere I fly.

Thanks for your time,
Ben

Paul,

I have been flying and building rc planes sense the 80's. I have the technical expertise to do a good job with the video editing, photographing, and uploading all of the above to the internet. I am your man, no doubt about it!

Paul,

I'd love the opportunity to test your new offering. I've been toying with the idea of trying out a 3D plane & the Airfoilz line is at the top of my list. Your customer support & large fan base show me what a quality product you offer.

I've built & flown several balsa aircraft & own a couple RTF foamies, but have never built a foamy from a kit. I think I could offer a common perspective to those many potential customers out there whom are considering the move to a product like yours.

I do architectural & structural CADD drafting & design for a living, so am used to conveying technical thoughts & ideas via graphic & textual means. I've also got the photographic equipment & expertise to properly document the construction & flight phases of this project.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes on the new product launch, looks like you're releasing it next month!?!! Can't wait!

Sincerely,
Peter Dahlmann

I'd be happy to give it a shot. I already have an Edge and I've done some beta testing for the guys at RCXPlanes, so I'm fairly experienced. Just need to know how much the power system will cost. If it'll work with HS-55 servos, I'm good to go.

Paul,
I have been looking for a full fuse 3D plane. I live in Alaska and the snow is starting to fly and I need something to protect my electronics. I recently retired from the Air Force and I have plenty of time on my hands to do a detail report.
Thanks,
Jay...

Hi Paul, per our conversation today, if you are in need of a beta tester, I have all the parts needed to fit this plane.

Thanks for the consideration.
