It has been a while since I actually built my Edge but I want to be sure that anyone poking around this Forum would read this! If you have thought about buying any of the fine products from Airfoilz, just do it! I was the lucky recipient of the Edge contest back in March and received my kit for free. (Thanks again) I did however buy all the necessary hardware, electronics, motor, esc and even batteries for 3dxhobbies.com and like you hear on any of the many forums...THEY ARE THE BEST...hands down:D Any questions...not sure how something is supposed to work...how does this piece fit...I am missing a decal...3dx is all over it. Customer service second to none!
Now about the plane...I had such a good time building my Edge...the instructions were nicely laid out and there is even video's on this site that will show you how building steps are completed! (This helped me out a lot to see it done versus just seeing a picture) Everything went together beautifully, no surprises! The Airfoilz planes are not your everyday foamie...they look like a plane...fly like a plane...not a toy! Not lets talk about how she flies!! It is everything that you have read...the plane is simply amazing! I love the fact that I can just putt around the sky...then punch it straight up...nose it down and watch it tumble end over end...then right back to putting around! The Edge gets so much attention when I am out flying...especially after some serious violent maneuvers and then gently bringing her down for a touch and go! The Edge really makes 3D look easy...everything you can throw at it...not a problem!! I expect the plane to ripped to pieces after some of the WOT dives and snap rolls...but this is an Airfoilz baby!! I have destroyed other foamies doing maneuvers that doesn't even make my Edge sweat!!
Now...I have a tough choice to make...which one do I get next;) ??
