My first Airfoilz

This is my first Airfoilz, I have the Bipe NX, I know the instructions say some parts may be slightly different but the build is basically the same.

I'd just like to point out the aileron linkage control horns, the ones connecting the top and bottoms together were not an "L" shape the was just straight. So when I cut my control arms to 4.5" they was to short, 5" is needed.

Also my landing gear must be the old style because no matter which end I inserted into the slot on the side of the plane the wire would point down where the wheels go. So I had to drill 2 holes in the landing gear support and insert them straight up into the bottom and capped them off with light ply to keep them secure.

Other then that the build was easy and the plane looks good, just wish my landing gear fit like it's suppose to.

Now time to finish installing the electrics and get the bird flying.

Remember about the aileron control linkage, or you might come up short for the rest of the linkage, 5" not 4.5" if you have the straight control horns.

I also had the straight control horns and my linkages are cut at 6" and work perfectly. I think I just measured the span between the ailerons and cut what looked like would fit best and still give a little adjustment (after cutting the first one short). I ended up using just wire between the servo and the control horn and all worked out fine in the end.
The landing gear on mine use the zip tie to hold them in place unlike my older Airfoilz profiles which had the push in style. The manual for the other NX planes have what came with my kit on steps 4 and 42. http://airfoilz.com/manuals/nx.pdf

Yeah that's the way mine are suppose to attach but they don't fit like that, slide into the side, zip tie at the groove. I'm going to send out an email and see if I can't get the right set.

You have the wrong wire, you have the wire for the FF airfoilz plane, you can just re-bend up the axle or email me for a new wire.

I don't have a wire bender, and I've tried before to bend wire for landing gear and it always comes out bad, the thought had ran through my mind, I just can't bend wire lol
