Have you guys every thought of a beginner plane that would incorporate the durability of the Airfoilz design and be easy enough for a new pilot to handle? Just thinking about comments I get when I am out flying..."Is that hard to fly?" "How hard is that to build?" Might be something to look at...get a new pilot with a Airfoilz trainer and move up to the 3-D line of planes. There is really no good quality trainers IMO...most electric trainers are the RTF kits that are not easy to fly...and really come with crummy equipment that is used for that plane only and at least most of mine have ended up in the trash!

Here's a link. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=542156&highlight=airfoilz+dart

Didn't seem to be a lot of interest so it was never produced in quantity. Easy to resurrect though

Maybe it just needs a little advertising? Still have one laying around? I think that with the right marketing...ie. a build thread...some video...pushing it on some of the forums you might get a little following!

We do plan on coming out with it, I believe the design is all done, just needs to go through manufacturing.

Looks a little like the Mobius! How did it fly? Kinda reminds me of a Reno Racer plane...I like it:D

The outline is a take off of the 30's racers. Actually, not at all like the Mobius. It flies great. Very docile at low rates. Has a dihedral in the wings and medium long moments. Will perform basic 3D on high rates. I've used it for training in my club with great success. Makes a great sport flyer. Here's a better look at the outlines.

Looks great! And that was what I thought...reminds me of the golden ages of air racing! Looks like it could be flown very fast...not a lot of drag! So when can we expect it?;)

Would love to see a really flashy color scheme on this one!
