In last march I bought a yak combo with the hacker motor. I loved it so much but after cracking the fuse twice its time to get the new extra. But my problem is the vislero battery that came with the combo. From day one the performance was never like the Thunder power 1320 that I bought at the same time. But ever since then the performance has deteriorated and it has become puffy. At first the puffiness seemed normal until it got even puffier and I planed which pack to use based on weather I wanted to hover at 3/4 throttle or full. I assume that the battery being more than a little puffy after about 4 months of moderate use is not normal. I hate to say it but I would high discourage vislero batteries after my experience. Since I now have to buy a new battery how is the tp 2000 prolite. Its a little lighter than the 2100 so I think it should be good although heavier than the 1320.

That is to bad about your Vislero...but I have had the same thing happen with one of my TP 1320:( I have not tried the tp 2000 but I do use the tb2100 and Vislero 2100 and really prefer the heavier batteries with all of my Airfoilz (Edge, Bipe, Extra etc) Any of the Airfoilz will handle the extra weight...I can't even tell the difference when I am flying;)

After I broke the fuse and repaired it I really noticed the power difference between the two packs. I actually had to plan my warm up flight for the vislero and any hovering with the tp. Also does anyone know why paul hasn't responded to my pm's. I sent him one a while ago and one last week and I've gotten no response about this battery. Every other question I sent his way got a speedy response.

Yeah, i've had no luck with my 3 x Vislero 1300 packs either.
All 3 turned into fat little 'Pillows' in no time at all... and performance deteriorated over time.
My 1800 Vislero has been fine though.... wierd?
I swear by Thunder Power batteries, I have several and they have been rock solid for almost a year now. I use an E-Flite powermeter to get performance ratings and the TP's are the go. Maybe it's the heat down here?
Hyperion Litestorm lipo's have also performed really well.
Thats just my 2¢ anyway.

p.s. Paul is prolly just busy... He has never ignored my pm's.

We are switching the combos over to another brand of lipos, the failer rate is not very high, and I still use them to this day, but it seams they had a bad batch and I was the unlucky one to get them. I have stood behind them and replaced them if people did have a issuse with them, if they had a problem, within the first month of using them.

Did you balance your Vislero lipos before charging? Also...how much time between fling and charging?

I've always used my fma balancing charger and have never ran the batteries below 25%. Usually I waited ten minutes after the batteries were finished balancing before I flew. That means there was probebly 15 or so minutes of the batteries just sitting or being charged at a very low rate. Like I said before my tp has being absolutely great. And as Paul said he does any problem with these batteries right.

It is a bummer to lose any battery...and I too have noticed that different batteries seem to have more power than others...that said I think that the Vislero 2100 are the best in the 2100 size. It is all I am currently using on my Extra 260 and Bipe.

I was bummed too. I had already broke the fuse on my yak twice just as I was getting hovering on the deck down, this battery made flying worthless and I had no money. Now that christmas has come I can get a new extra and a new battery. I think the tp 2000 mah should be awsome. bigger than the 1320 and much lighter than the vislero or tp 2100.

I am with you on that!! I don't even fly with the 1300 size anymore! Does't have enough weight for me to throw my Airfoilz into a crazy spin!! Let us know how the new batteries work out:D
