3 cell lipos, and from 1000 mah to 2100 mah 11.1 volt battery will work just fine.

I just purchased an eFlight Park 400 (920Kv) outrunner, 20A eFlight ESC, Thunderpower 3 cell 1320mAh LiPo, and three eFlight s60 servos from my LHS that I was planning on installing on an old eFlight Yak54 kit. That is until I saw your link and decided to buy the Yak. I found a post in the forum that indicates that the Park 400 motor is a good (not great) choice for the Yak, but it looks to be out-of-stock. Do you thing my gear work well on the Extra 260 Hybrid? Also, I'm not clear what the main difference is between the Yak and the Extra 260 Hybrid. The forum recommended the Yak over the Edge for newbies, but I'm not sure where the Extra 260 fits in this picture. I'm experienced in glow, but new to foamies. Do you recommend waiting for the Yak?

One more piece of advice. I don't plan on "wild" 3D and I could probaby exchange (not return) the Park 400 for the Park 450 outrunner, if I do so soon. Do you think I would be happier with the bigger motor on your Yak?

If you are experienced in glow I believe you can handle any of the Airfoilz Planes! The great thing about the Airfoilz is the fly like large gas planes! Trust me....this is a great thing! The Extra 260 is quickly becoming my favorite of the bunch...very graceful, will spin and tumble and tracks great! As far as the motor...I have not used either motor on my "Foilz" but from what I have read both will work well. The Extra is a mere 22 ounces RTF! Buy one...you won't be disappointed! Plus...did you see that there is a Full Fuse Yak 54 coming out? And at less than 60 bucks...you can't go wrong!
