I don't think the original winners of the Extra 260's (http://www.airfoilz.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3696&postcount=201) contacted Paul. Looks like if you were entered in the contest we all have another chance to win :).

Did anybody else get the spam from Patricia?? I received the exact same PM on the Hobby City forum. I guess it's a program that grabs an active account and sends out a mass PM. Admin at Hobby City gave out the account holders email and invited everyone to "Spam the spammer". Poor guy creates a new account just to post what happened and to ask everyone to stop spamming him :pLOL:)

I was just checking in to see who won, I just figured it wasn't me...hmmm.. maybe there is hope after all, I have NEVER won asnything online before, that would be cool, I got just the perfect setup since my buddy threw a snowball at my other plane and made it explode in flight. ummm, oops :) happy easter everyone!!

Inquiring minds would like to know for sure. Kind of reminds me of those PCH give aways. You never really know who won what or when the way they run those. Not that I care about those anymore but with my luck they'll pull up to my front door a week after I've been planted :rolleyes: :D

Well I just ordered the full fuze yak. I traded a walkerea 36 heli for a park 450 with matching esc, 1320 lipo and a bunch of 10x4.5 props to start with.
I am also buying a 260 extra profile foamie from a freind. My freind also sold me a jr x-347 and a real flight sim for 75$ the 260 should run my bout 100 rtr. I used to own a .32 excell heli that i tried for a couple yrs then it sat on the shelf. I decided to try 3d planes instead of helis. far less stress on the brain. not to mention cheaper and easier to upkeep.
I have read the build manual it it seems to be a faily simple build.
My main r/c interest is f/e boats of which i have 3 caths on the bench.
OK 2 f/e and a gasser on he bench. I have always wanted to try planes so here I am.
I am quite sure I will be asking a bunch of questions as i grow with this new form of r/c. I am also checking resources for depron foam at work
I work in the plastics feild. (thermoforming/vacuforming)
I am really getting excited about getting some flight time. I have a monthe or 2 before Ican run boats here due to the fact the lakes are still frozen.lol.
Well thank you for the warm welcome i will be sure to be back many more times.... Is there a build thread page??? I havent really looked around much here at this site and still getting used to its payout. Well thank you again Dave

Wow! What luck for a fairly new pilot! I have flown helis for some time, but have recently gotten into airplanes. My little Flatana has seen some better days. Being my 3d trainer has been rough on it. This could not have come at a better time. I have been looking at these planes for some time now, waiting for the inevitable to happen to the Flatout. I tip my hat to the Airfoilz crew for this one. I'll get pics up as soon as its built.
