What version is it? They are on version 3 now and I think one would be fun for my EDF's to see whats really going on but that's because you always pushing the limits of the batts and motors on them. You should be fine with your current setup but a good watt meter is your best friend. I use both a clamp style from sears and the inline one from e-flite. Always best to know just how many amps your setup is pulling and how low your batts sag under power. Your eagle tree will do this but it's not as easy for a quick reading.

Its a v2 not the new one. I also have the powere panel so I can read the results right after the flight.

Well then I'd use it for a couple flights and check your setup. See if your comfortable with the numbers. I think they look like a real nice tool for seeing the power info throughout the entire flight.

I had originally got it for my boats cuz we run much higher amps and volt.
Ex: One of my boats is running 12 sub c 4200 mah matched in a 2084 kv motor pulling a max of 83 amps running thru a 100 amp esc..
Another boat is running same set up but with up to 14 cells.
Amps peak alot higher in boats and its really nice to see what ur pulling before ya pop a 100-250$ esc or motor... We call that letting out the majic smoke.. lol

The power panel only shows the peaks If I am correct, I havent read up on it for a few months and have not actually used it yet. It can also tell rpms.
