You need to get your Edge flight ready (battery installed) and balance the plane on the wing root. We recommend that you perform initial flights with the CG approximately 3 inches behind the leading edge at the wing root. This means you will measure 3" back from the front of the wing. Make a small mark and using your fingers on both sides of the wing...adjust the battery to balance even on your fingers. If you have the planed balanced and it still feels tail heavy...check your ailerons in the neutral position.

You need to check the netrual position of your ailerons! If you can post a pic we can help!

FYI...it takes much more weight to move the nose down verse moving the tail down as the nose is closer to the CG of the plane. Inversely, it does not take much weight to pull down the tail like adding a tail wheel that weighs much more than the wire that is supplied in the kit.
Now just to be clear, when you say it is tail heavy, you mean when you are trying to balance it on your fingers (not tail heavy while flying it) like Bighead suggested correct? If so, be aware that where the ailerons are located has no bearing on the GC adjustment. That would only affect the plane while it is flying.
