I am a newb flier and decided I needed a different plane to learn with. I was destryoing my f/f yak. Is is ok to post of my learning process and maybe vids. This is the only plane sight that I go to and dont really want to join another forum.(too many already). I by no means intend to offend or promote any other manufacturers. I would just like to post my learning and maybe get some advice from here seeing I know there are a few local guys who are also members here...
Thanks Dave

Hi Dave,
This is an Airfoilz Support site. but I am sure Paul won't mind general flying questions.
That said, I do think you will have more responses and maybe more poeple who are flying your specific plane if you go to RCgroups.com.
Most everyone that is on this forum is also over there.
Glad to here your still flyin!
Have Fun!
Andy

Why is it I tried a lipo 2100 3S mah battery from a club member and it flew but not with duration or power, I tried another club members same battery and it flew like a NEW PLANEBecause of the C rating of the battery. One could be a 10C battery and the other is a 30C.
Also, the one battery could have been weak and near its death bed.
All lipo's are not the same. I've measured a difference of 20 to 25% in performance when checking different packs on the same motor prop combo. Not abusing the packs helps keep the performance up.

Thanks Andy Oh ya, over the 4th of July weekend Ia huge feild all to myself. Nothing like going balistic for 300 ft.(est) up where the eagles fly.
It was awsome haveing as much room as I wanted to just let it rip.
I practiced alot of knife edges and tried hovering but my c/g wasnt set for it.... It was an awsome weekend for flying... Andy we should meet up again , or I could stop by your place and burn up a few packs...

I purchased a complete rayovac 4 cell charger with batteries.
after 2 days they go dead without using them . I used them in a flashlight , they only last 1 hour , you have to constantly re charge them, they are 2600mah , I replaced them with alkalines and then they last the alkalines .. why is this charging type battery very low in power and they don't last??
there is nothing wrong with the charger that came with them, I even used another professional charger for RC airplanes and still these batteries just cant hold it anyone know why ?
I tried Duracell's, EverReadys still no good I even have a professional good charger for RC planes and charged with that they go dead, I put them in my wifes little
RC boat 6 of them and inside of 15 minutes they went dead, with a good rc nicad or sanyo nimh will last 3 times as long
what gives with these store brand rechargable batteries I even tried the AAA 1800mah in my walky talkys and inside a few hours they die. once I didnt use the radios for a month and they were dead?

If you are using a brushless motor you can also just switch any two of the three motor wires to change motor direction. :)
