X motor

hello, I am considering buying the yak 54. i have a x motor 300b(28 oz. of thrust) sold by 2 dog rc and a 3 cell lipo i would like to use on it.
anyone try this motor or reffering to these specs will it work well?

Yep that one will work it's for a 7-32oz plane and our planes fall in the 17-18oz range.

Heck yeah, thats plenty... turn a 7x3.8 or a 7x4 prop and you'll be real happy.
