Today, I did some flying of the Airfoilz Edge 540 in about 9-15mph, the flight was going well but I flew and little to close to the trees and the lipo didn't have enough to fly away from them so the tree caught the plane :(

After about 15min of throwing logs and sticks up at it some 15 ft, the plane finnaly fell to the ground, the only damage was the stab broke clen from the fuse and a few dings, otherwise nothing else. True Story.

Mind you this is the same plane I hit the ground with because I did not check the ailerons, nose in damage? Just the wing split on the fuse, after some med CA it was all fixed and had no affect on the plane what so ever.

One day I was trying a new prop and was hovering the Yak then flew around to land...I noticed that the power was cutting short but I still instead of the conventional landing I wanted to catch it out of a hover.

Well the batery cut out about 2 foot off the deck and it felll right on the rudder then the landing gear...stripped a servo and bent the dog terds outa the rudder.

The funny thing about the Edge/tree story is that it was on the same day I parked mine 75 feet up in a tree. Although I had to use 60 feet of 3/4 in conduit to wedge mine free and on the way down.... Not so friendly :( Paul I looked around to find that motor you wanted me to try but couldn't find it. You said it was a HiMax 1100 kv model, can you elaborate what the prefix is 2816 or 2808 or ????
