Default What Scorpion should I use?

Airfoilz Yak, Mobius, and Edge kits, the 2215 motors are best. The 2215-18 puts out gobs of power, and works best with an APC 10x5E prop with a 3-cell Li-Po battery, pulling around 17 amps, and putting out 34 ounces of thrust. The 2215-22 is a little bit cooler wind, and performs best with a GWS 11x7 prop, pulling 14.3 amps, and putting out 31 ounces of thrust. If you really want some INSANE power, run the 2215-22 on a 4-cell pack with an APC 10x5E prop. It will draw 15.8 amps, giving you 222 watts of power and over 39 ounces of thrust!

For the Bipe, our new 3008 series motors are an excellent choice, putting out around 350-400 watts of power. If you want Serious vertical, then a 3014 series motor will get you in the 550-600 watt range.

    Hi Paul:

I went to the RCX show yesterday and talked to Lucien. I bought the 2215-18 on his recommendation.

It will replace a Hacker 22-20L that is making "sick" sounds. I plan to test it Monday, if the weather will copoerate.
