This is my 'Red / Black version' of Paul's original layout.
Gets plenty of attention down at the flying field!![]()
But i still think this one takes the cake!

It's like AIRFOILZ includes a set of 'pro thumbs' in every box!
Hey...so lets do the the contest...what the heck. It could be a good PR stunt.
"Our customers said our paint schemes sucked...so now is you chance to design a paint scheme that will be used by pilots worldwide...and if you win...you get your choice of any Airfoilz kit."
Paul...this is a golden PR opportunity...
Hey Paul...so if we are going to submit a paint scheme... Can we get a PDF with a graphic of the side/bottom/top line art for the Bipe and Mobius?
That way I can color it, and send it in.
Hey Mike....those are vastly better pasint schemes!!! I like them!!!

I recently finished my "Bipe" (pics coming soon under a different thread). The green and black looks nice on the bench, on the ground, and in my pics. In flight the plane looks good when it's flown in close. Sometimes, I fly a wide pattern. When the plane gets out there, its predominant color is white. The plane can get lost in the haze. I think it would be neat to consider top AND bottom wing trim using brilliant reds and oranges with a splashy burst of color, perhaps a color gradient or starburst pattern, on the outside face of the wing struts.
Alternatively, consider doing the entire model in solid colored (i.e. pumpkin orange or salmon) depron (if that's available).
I also like the idea of a coloration contest.
I think the Pitts red/white checker pattern is a classic design that fits the bipe just right. Makes you want to drink a Coca-Cola and sing the National Anthem....
