This is the first post of the AirfoilZ Century Project.



The Purpose of the ACP is to get at least 100 different pilots to fly the same airplane (hence the Century mark). With inspiration from World Globetrotter 1 (Wiggy) and Wings Across America (WAA), but with a more personal twist. The most pilots in the shortest amount of time.


Instead of sending and handing the airplane off to different pilots, I will carry the airplane with me, and personally give it to the pilots to fly.


They will fly it, then sign it, and complete a logbook entry and get a photo taken.


I will do my best to get to every event and field in the South Western USA, and get the largest number of Wattflyer pilots as possible on-board.

Small FM 72 mhz RX (any channel)
1800~2300 mah 3 cell (at least 20c)
Props (could use a few to find the best)

As a pilot, it will cost you nothing to participate. Its purely for the fun, and notoriety of it. I will handle all the documentation and recordkeeping.


I will be based in Southern California and will take it with me when I travel to get more pilots to fly it.
