Tried it today-not much different-water is nice
to me its a lot different and i like it!!
Really...it looks nice...but I won't spend another $200 to land on water...or have landing gear that gives when I land!
um ya its a lot better imo but i agree 200 bucks. i think u get a 25 $ rebate if u had g3 or g3.5
I didn't like the way the Yak 54 3-D's...the graphics look better...there is a $50 Cash rebate or a $75 merchandise cash...maybe down the road...but I would rather spend $200 at 3dxhobbies.com!
Hi Guys,
I got it last week and think it's pretty cool. The new Tx feels alot better (closer to my DX7)
I knew there was a significant difference when I imported the FoilZ 540..... flies sooo much better.
Casey have you tried the AirfoilZ planes yet? Would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Anyways, here's a small clip I made the other day, mainly showin off the new water feature.

Nice Pic!!
Very nice flying Coonak! Yes, I agree that the Airfoilz planes in G3.5 do not fly right. I am not sure if it is because of the design of the models or that the G3.5 does not handle the physics correctly.
I have been flying some larger gas planes (Extra 330 L and QQ Pitts) and they seem so easy to fly. I am wondering if they really fly that nice as if they do, I may have to by a 40%'er.
What did you use to do the video with and what size did you post it to You tube? It seems that when I upload a video, it is not very good quality.
Thanks,
Thanks BH.
Cheers
I use a proggy called FRAPS. You can download it from anywhere if you Google it and you should be able to find it complete with serial #!![]()
(If not PM me your email address and I'll send it to ya.... it's only a couple of mb)
That particular vid was 42mb after I squashed it down using Windows Movie Maker.
Thanks
Mick
