    Default New NX Profile Line

The new profile NX is here, with a all new fuselage design. We have added a carbon fiber tube in the fuse and all depron fuse that is CNC routered out for the lightest stiffest fuse. New landing gear mount, that is bullet proof. The new line will include- Extra 260, Edge 540, Yak-54, Kantana and Extra 300! Stay tuned for more info....

Sounds great! We would love to see some photos.
There was no mention of the bipe, hope it is close to being finished also.

Ya, photos would be nice. Hey Paul, I love my full fuselage YAK54. What a fun plane, it flys great! The CG was a little tricky to get just right, but boy once it's where it should be, it's a great plane.

I hope this is like the old profile plane and ends up the same weight. The Profile Yak is one of my favorite planes. It is the perfect setup with the Hacker 20-20L and TP 1320 batteries. I personally did not like how the FF planes flew. The full fuse added weight which then the Hacker 20-20L and 1320's were too small so had to go to a bigger motor and batteries which put my plane at 26 ozs. And you did not add any inches to the wings so it did not fly nearly as light as the profile plane. The wings of the full fuse need to be made larger for the heavier plane.

I will be very interested in this new plane as my current profile Yak had taken a direct hit with the ground and snapped the fuse in two and while I did glue it back together, it flies nice but it is getting beat up and will need a new plane to put the parts on pretty soon.

When will they be ready to go????

    Thanks,

The new NX weight is coming out to be 18-19oz, so the same set-up for the old one will be the same.

Yes, the new profile Bipe is in the works. The next NX will be the Edge 540, then the YAK and then the Bipe.
